Issue Integrating GISInterface Add-In

Hi everyone,

I recently tried integrating the GISInterface add-in for Simio, following this YouTube tutorial by Dan Houck, but I haven’t had any luck getting it to appear in my Simio student version (17.261) under the Add-In/Actions menu in the Project Home.

Here’s what I’ve tried:

• Downloaded the GISAdd.dll from the Simio GIS Interface GitHub repository

• Placed the DLL in Program Files\Simio\UserExtensions

• Also tried C:\Users\<MyUser>\Documents\SimioUserExtensions

• Unblocked the DLL in the file’s properties

Despite these steps, the GISInterface add-in still doesn’t appear in the Simio interface. 

Has anyone faced this issue before, or is there a specific step I might be missing for the student version? Any advice would be appreciated.

Thank you Jeff , Can you explain how did you install it, because I tried as I mentioned above, but no way.
